Q:  What support do I receive as a Business Associate?
A:  Life Resolutions® provides the following support to our Business Associates:

  1. Practice Establishment:
    1. sources and negotiates property
    2. designs, develops, fits out, redecorates and establishes the practice
    3. installs all furnishings and equipment for the successful operation of the Life Resolutions® practice

  2. Training and the Operations Manual:
    Life Resolutions® will assist the Business Associate to become familiar with how to operate a successful private practice by providing:
    1. the Initial Training Program to the Business Associate
    2. the Operations Manual (the bible on how to run a psychology private practice)

  3. Central Booking System, New Clients and Computer Equipment:
    1. Life Resolutions® on behalf of the Business Associates, manages, operates and continues to develop the Central Booking System
    2. Life Resolutions® installs in the Life Resolutions® Practice on the Business Associate's behalf the computer hardware and software
    3. Business Associates do not need to employ administration or receptionist staff as Life Resolutions® staffs the Central Booking System with appropriately trained and qualified staff who are available to support the Business Associate with services, including:
      1. making and revising client appointments;
      2. a central referral, contact point and knowledge bank for answering queries from clients, general practitioners and other professionals and organisations requiring information about the Network, psychologists and services offered;
      3. delivering ongoing new clients to the Business Associate; and
      4. inputting details of new clients into the central system
      5. providing the introductory information services to new clients

  4. Marketing:
  5. Life Resolutions®:
    1. develops and implements a structured national and state-wide marketing program and promotes the Network's services
    2. assists with relationship development programs that reflect the needs of the Business Associate and their Life Resolutions® Practice, building the individual profile of the Business Associate
    3. provides local marketing initiatives, training, support and marketing tools to the Business Associate to assist the Business Associate with local marketing and promotion of the Life Resolutions® practice in a way the Business Associate is comfortable with
    4. in consultation with and reference to the Business Associate's views, provide training and ongoing support to market the Life Resolutions® Practice.

  6. Client Service Program:
    Life Resolutions® operates a Client Service Program which includes a range of quality assurance measure, to ensure the Network provides only the highest level of professionalism to its clients in an ethical manner.

  7. Advice, assistance and Support Consultants: 
    Life Resolutions® provides advice and assistance to the Business Associate, including advice and guidance in relation to:
    1. use of the Central Booking System;
    2. provision of Professional Services;
    3. local marketing techniques and strategies, public and client relations;
    4. recruitment of employees and subcontractors;
    5. the training of employees and subcontractors;
    6. ongoing professional development of the Business Associate, employees and subcontractors
    7. financial reporting and budgeting.
    8. In order to support the development of the practice and the professional growth and development of the Business Associate, Life Resolutions® engages:
      1. a Business Support Consultant; and
      2. a Psychologist Support Consultant,
      each of whom are available to Life Resolutions® Business Associates to provide daily support and supervision to assist with the development and operation of the Practice;
    9. offer ongoing advice and guidance in respect of client service, business growth, profit and methods to achieve successful business operations;
    10. provide, with assistance from the Psychologist Support Consultant, supervision, professional development, debriefing and support in the service of counselling, other Life Resolutions® psychological services as well as guidance in the management of employees and subcontractors
    11. provide opportunities for the Business Associate to participate in corporate work such as training, presentations, mediation, critical incidents and debriefing
    12. provides regular workshops, seminar and group supervision for the Business Associate

  8. Resources and staff
    Life Resolutions® is responsible, at its cost, for employment, training and management of all qualified staff of Life Resolutions® for the delivery, growth and support of Life Resolutions® Network and Business Associates. Such examples of areas of responsibility include: National Support Centre management, administration and support, business development, marketing, public relations, creative design, psychology support consultancy, business support consultancy, national and state Business Associate management, supplier management, property management, fit out management, events and seminars management, and finance management.
