Language Diversity – Jodie Brenton Making Counselling Accessible

Posted on

Australians are diverse, in 2016, the Australian Government reported that over 300 languages were spoken in Australia. We understand that language and cultural diversity can act as a barrier to seeking mental health support. Together with our head psychologist, Jodie Brenton and Mary Magalotti have put together a team of psychologists with different experiences and backgrounds.

Here at Life Resolutions, we promote inclusivity in mental and health care. In addition to English, our psychologists can offer counselling in:

  • Fari
  • Hindi
  • Portuguese

Our diverse team of psychologists can provide a level of understanding to those where English is their second language. We aim to provide compassionate care to all Australians. We also offer telehealth counselling appointments so Australians can access mental health professionals.

Our psychologists offer a range of mental health services in these languages, including but not limited to:

  • Anxiety and depression counselling
  • Anger management
  • Eating disorder counselling
  • Family counselling

Jodie Brenton and Mary Magalotti are passionate about making mental healthcare accessible for everyone. If you are looking for counselling in Fari, Kindi, Portuguese or English to contact our team today to book an appointment. Our friendly team of professionals at Life Resolutions are here to help clients recognise, understand and overcome any issues they may be facing.
