A psychologist is a qualified and skilled person who researches and studies the science of human behaviour. They assess a client and provide ways to help reduce the stress and negativity in their life.

Psychologists also help work to improve a client’s self-awareness, habits, and thinking patterns for positive results.

At Life Resolutions we’re very strict on who joins our professional team. We require our psychologists to have a 4 year’s minimum university education, a two year’s graduate education, and a two years supervised work experience period under a registered psychologist.

Our Clinical Psychologists and Sports Psychologists require a 6 year’s tertiary education, including a research PhD.

All our psychologists use non-drug treatments. However, if we feel medication is required, we can work with other medical practitioners to create a suitable treatment plan.

Our psychologists use a variety of different therapy options to help you reach your goals. Some of these therapies include:

  • Solution Focused Therapy
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
  • Psychoanalysis
  • Psychotherapy
