Dr Emma McDougall

About Emma

I enjoy working with a range of presentations. I am fairly easy going and have a good sense of humour. I try to use that to make the therapeutic space comfortable for clients by listening to their concerns and offering honest validation and feedback as well as evidence tested interventions.

I try to have a warm and approachable style with clients and aim to tailor treatment to the each individual’s needs. I draw upon a number of therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Supportive Psychotherapy
