Chantal is a warm, empthathic and open-minded Psychologist who has worked with clients from a variety of cultures, particularly in Europe and Middle Eastern cultures. Her strength is her ability to engage with people in a non-judgemental manner and to create a safe environment that will foster a collaborative and integrative relationship with her clients. She assists clients in identifying and exploring issues that are contributing to their presenting symptomatology.
Chantal adopts a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches drawing on a number evidence-based therapies including Client-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (INT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.
Chantal began her career as a Psychologist 20 years ago, working in a private setting, specialising in occupational rehabilitation. After taking a break from the field to broaden her experience in different vocations and to raise a family, she has returned to the field of psychology with a breadth of experience and knowledge that has provided her invaluable understanding and compassion for her clients presenting issues. She also has experience with individuals who are on WorkCover, TAC and NDIS.
