Rebecca is an outgoing yet nurturing clinician, naturally building rapport with clients quickly and using a unique skillset to meet their therapy goals. Rebecca draws on evidence based practices and tailors these to each client using strategies that make therapy for clients interesting and rewarding.
Selecting techniques to best suit the individual needs of her clients, Rebecca draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also incorporates Play Therapy as well as numerous social skills and self confidence building intervention techniques for children.
Rebecca is a Provisional Psychologist who has worked in multiple settings with children, adolescents and adults for over 9 years including working within the Department of Education specialising in Autism support. Rebecca has a passion for working with children and being a mother herself, this enables her to bring a nurturing yet informative perspective into her work with clients.
