Telehealth Psychologists

We understand that many of us may be experiencing increased anxiety due to the new restrictions in place to combat COVID-19. With the situation changing daily, it’s important to keep an eye on your mental health.
As such, Life Resolutions has launched a full telehealth service to our clients, meaning that you’ll be able to access our full range of online therapy services from the safety of your own home.

What is telehealth?

Telehealth is defined as the “use of telecommunication techniques for the purpose of providing telemedicine, medical education, and health education over a distance”. So, instead of making an appointment to physically come into a Life Resolutions practice, you can now speak to your mental health professional either over the phone or via video chat.

To speak with your therapist over the phone, you’ll need:

  • A phone connection
  • A quiet space where you can speak with your therapist without being disturbed

To speak with your therapist via video chat, you’ll need:

  • A stable Internet connection
  • A webcam (this can be on your phone or your computer)
  • A quiet space where you can speak with your therapist without being disturbed

If you need help with your technology set up for your online therapy counselling appointment, please call us on 1300 668 256 and one of our team will talk you through it.
