Most of us have thought about trying therapy at some point in our lives. Spending time with someone who can listen to all of our concerns and anxieties as well as help us make sense of them, free of judgement, is incredibly attractive. Too often, however, we’re worried that easing our mental strain will put an equally big strain on something else — our wallet.
Thanks to COVID-19, we now find ourselves entering into a time of prolonged economic uncertainty, and no one knows how long it might last. More and more experts are turning their attention to mental health issues as our nation’s greatest potential challenge moving forward, and the Federal Government has made supporting innovation and funding in this space one of its main priorities.
Unfortunately, at the same time, the average Australian is tightening their purse strings in fear of a global recession and the last thing they want to spend money on is their mental health. The majority of us resist the pull of therapy and instead turn to friends, family or even colleagues for support and advice. And that’s only those of us who are comfortable sharing personal issues with people who know us. Some struggle resolutely through on their own, often inadvertently increasing their own feelings of anxiety.
At this moment in time, we at Life Resolutions find that it’s the responsibility of organisations like ours to support the community by making quality therapy services as affordable and accessible as we can. This is why, through our Achieving Better Care initiative, we have committed to:
To that end, Life Resolutions are pleased to announce a new Back to Me package, where clients are able to try out therapy with one of our experienced team at a lower price. Rather than the traditional consultation model, where the client attends a single session of up to an hour, we’re offering what we’re calling Back to Me, where the client is able to attend 3 sessions of 30-minutes each with the same therapist.
Our hope is that through this model, new clients will have the opportunity to become more self-aware and more effectively armed with coping strategies than they would be after a single session. In addition, the program will allow them to access quality services through private practice right away and in an affordable manner, bypassing the extensive waiting period that they might experience waiting for bulk-billing or Government-assisted opportunities.
The 3-session Back to Me package is available now to new clients for only $90 (claimable via private health insurance for Telehealth – check with your Health Insurance Provider). As always, the sessions are accessible both in person and through telehealth.
To book this offer please call us on 1300 668256 or fill in the Contact Us section with “Back to Me 3 Session package at $90” in the comments box and one of our friendly team will call you to schedule your appointment.
